Schembechler Hall Renovation & Towsley Museum

Schembechler Hall is home to Michigan Football. The renovation which was completed in April of 2014 also included the construction of Towsley Museum which holds all of Michigan Football’s history. The highlight of the dedication was the unveiling of a life-size statue of Bo Schembechler outside of the entrance to the building. The statue is an iconic sideline image of Bo in his classic sideline attire and includes his timeless quote, “Those Who Stay Will Be Champions.”

Field Hockey Stadium & Turf

The Phyllis Ocker Field Hockey Field was completed and dedicated in September of 2014. The renovation included new turf, and a completely new facility to house the team and coaches. The home for Michigan Field Hockey contains locker rooms, a team room, coaches offices and is equipped to host Big Ten and National Championships.

Donald R. Shepherd Softball Center

The Donald R. Shepherd Softball Center was completed and dedicated in April of 2014. The home of Michigan Softball includes coaches offices, a team locker room, training room and workout space.

Operations Building

The newly constructed operations building is home to many working part of Michigan Athletics. This is the hub for all incoming mail, laundry, department events and administration. The facility has opened up space at other buildings on the Stephen M. Ross Athletic Campus so that teams and coaches can fully utilize their facilities.
