Priority Point Program

The Priority Points Program is a comprehensive measure of your support for the University and Michigan Athletic Department. It provides a framework for the equitable allocation of donor experiences, such as eligibility for tickets and parking.

Calculating Priority Points

Please note:  You begin accumulating points (including alumni points) after your first gift to Michigan Athletics. Priority points do not update automatically as gifts are made. Points are updated once a month.

Priority Points are assigned as follows:

1 Point – Athletic Donations
One point is awarded for every $100 in lifetime giving to the Michigan Athletic Department, including Preferred Seat Donations.

1 Point – Marching Band/Recreational Sports Donation
One point is awarded for every $100 in lifetime giving to the Michigan Marching Band.

1 Point – Lifetime University Donations
One point is awarded for every $1,000 in lifetime giving to the University of Michigan.

1 Point – Ticket Loyalty
One point is awarded for each year of season ticket purchase in every season-ticketed sport since 1992, which was the first year of electronic record-keeping.

20 Points – Michigan Alumni
Twenty points are awarded for alumni status, with a maximum of forty points per account. Only spouses and domestic partners are eligible to share accounts & points.

40 Points – U-M Letterwinner
