Grand Rapids Coaches Tour

In partnership with Greenleaf Trust, Michigan Athletics hosted the Grand Rapids leg of its coaches tour at the beautiful Cascade Hills Country Club on August 13. Warde Manuel, Donald R. Shepherd Director of Athletics, welcomed everyone by recounting the Michigan's numerous successes in competition and in the classroom this past year. Ed Kengerski moderated a coaching staff panel with Cassie Churnside (water polo head coach), Maile'ana Kanewa-Hermelyn (women's gymnastics head coach), Sean Magee (football general manager), Jake Valentine (baseball assistant head coach) and Erin Virtue (volleyball head coach).
