Los Angeles Coaches Tour

Michigan Athletics hosted its second stop on the 2026 National Coaches Tour at the Portofino Hotel & Marina in Redondo Beach, California. Rich Eisen served as emcee with a panel of head coaches: J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Women's Basketball Coach Kim Barnes Arico; David and Meredith Kaplan Head Men's Basketball Coach Dusty May; volleyball head coach Erin Virtue; and J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Football Head Coach Kyle Whittingham. The event coincided with the Los Angeles Career Venture Trip so several student-athletes and staff from the Graham Family Athletic Career Center were able to join and share their experiences.
